Hi Guys,

Today, two great friends of mine moved away. I've known them for eight years so it was hard to see them go. I said goodbye and wrote them a card and cried and stuff but I still needed closure. So my QSoD for today is my closure.

Hi Guys,

Here's another one of my many random characters. I honestly do not know where my brain keeps making all these different faces. you'd think by now I'd start re-using characters right? But, nope! It's like I have an endless supply of totally random faces.

Anyways, the end of the world - ahem! - erm, I mean end of the year is coming up soon and I have a bunch of ideas on what I'm going to draw as a sort of 'good-bye 2012, hello 2013'. I want it to be something totally new and something I've never attempted before. I'm pretty clear on what I definitely want to be included but I'm not going to reveal it until December 31st. Then, come January 1st I'll do something even bigger! (Actually, maybe I shouldn't give you guys all those promises... I'm just starting to realize all the work this means.) But I'll follow through.

Hi Guys,

Here's my QSoD. Yes, it's yet another book character from a series that I'm reading. He's from the same book as yesterday's QSoD. The name of the book series is Maximum Ride by James Patterson. In the course of three days I've read the first three books (so, yeah I'm pretty addicted). In the book there's a group of children who were genetically altered with avian (bird) DNA as infants so they have wings (and extremely light bones). I believe this is the first time I've successfully drawn wings (so yay for me!).
This kid's name is Iggy. He's blind but I haven't mastered that glazed-over-eyes thing yet (or at least I didn't really try all that hard today). I was working on inking and coloring him tonight and I was going to post it but it's getting a little late so I'll present you with the sketch first.

Forever In Our Hearts

Hi Guys,

Today was a very unfortunate day as a shooting in Connecticut left 27 people murdered. But what makes it worse is 20 of those people were little children between the ages of 5 and 10 years old.

For those who were effected by this tragedy, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

But the innocent victims of  this horrible event will be forever in our hearts.

A shining heart for each life lost.
