Not so Quick/ Not so Sketchy Quick Sketch of the Day

Hi Guys,

So I finally finished that project for the art contest. here it is:

So this is Gregor and Boots from Gregor the Overlander series by Suzzane Collins. Gregor (I think) was 12 and his sister was 2 or 3. So they had a cute relationship and while he was in the underland hew as constantly worrying about his little sister so I thought this little scene would capture the essence of their love for each other. I always loved the book series (my favorite) so I figured since the contest was about books I would draw these two. I think it came out nice. It's actually cropped from the original because the original was too big. In the first version you could see the entire tree.

In the mean time, if you guys would like me to draw a character from your favorite book, send me an email. All the money I ear from commissions will go straight to this charity I created for my Aunt Jacqueline. And if you don't donate then please tell your friends about this.

Quick Sketch of the Day

Hey Guys,

I'm really sorry for the short post but I've been mega busy today with my project. But here's my quick sketch for today:

I tried doing something different with the eyes. I'll be posting the project I've been working so hard on by tomorrow (and maybe I'll have time to ink Mason).

Quick Sketch of the Day (Colored)

Hi Guys,

So here's my QSoD. I was sketching him out then I decided to sloppily color him in (by the way coloring in Sketchbook Pro is a nightmare).

So every time you guys see a QSoD it's drawn (on my drawing tablet) on a program called Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. It's a great program fro sketching out characters, scenes, portraits, etc. But when it comes to coloring... it really is a nightmare. Everything's sloppy and it's hard to know which tool will make a desired effect (sometime's it doesn't even have said tool). So whenever you see a picture that's been inked and colored it's been done on a program called Sai. It's amazing for coloring and inking (since it has the pen tool) and the blur tool works much better than the blur tool on Sketchboook, and on I Sai I get way more layer options. However Sai isn't as good for sketching like Sketchbook Pro is. So I do the guidlines on SB however I do all my line art and coloring (and, without a doubt, shading) on Sai.
But today I scribbled a two minute doodle and I figured it wasn't important enough to drag over to Sai so I just colored it on Sketchbook (which was a pain..).

Quick Sketch of the Day In Motion + Please Help Out With This Charity

Hi guys,

So today for my QSoD I decided to choose one of my poses again and I chose this one which I dubbed: Just Another Morning Walk:

So I beleev dis is tha ferst
EPIC SPELLING   SKILLS XD
anyways I believe this is the first time I've ever done a character in motion (hence the post's title). I never really practice walking (I used to but stopped) but when I had that artistic explosion and I created my Great Wall of Poses this was one that came to mind.
I kind of like this drawing because it looks like such a typical scene:
Old guy with loong legs walking while wearing that typical jogging shirt with the puffy sleeves and (of course) a comb over (because it wouldn't be complete without a comb over).
Tomorrow I probably won't use another one of my poses. I want to get more on my wall so I can show it to you guys one of these days (if any artists are reading this you can you use it as a reference also).

Busy With A Contest:

So 13 y/o has been treating me well however it means that I'm going to start losing me eligibility for a lot of contests and stuff. Speaking of which, I was super busy thinking of a subject for a contest that's due in two days. I had two months to do it but I neglected it for a month then when I started this charity I completely put it out of my mind (but I still really want to enter). It's a book themed contest which means I have to draw a picture inspired from any book. When I first heard about it I chose to do a drawing inspired by my favorite book series called Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins. Once I submit it (and the deadline has been reached) I'll post the picture on here. So look out for it.

Remember This Is A Charity:

By the way, guys, I'm almost up to 40 posts already so the original post (which give all the information on what this charity is about) is starting to get farther farther down the list of posts so you guys may not be able to just click on it anymore. So please remember to check it out (the link is at the end of this post). I always link it but just as a reminder click on it because it has extremely important information. Also, if you'd like to order a commission to help out with the charity, here are some suggestions on what you might like to order (and what could be useful for you): Click Me
And here's the commission chart (prices): Click Me Too
I'm glad that you guys read my posts but remember: This charity will go nowhere if you don't order a commission. So please think about it and tell your friends and family!! =)

Quick Sketch of the Day

Hi Guys,

So I was a little blocked artistically today so I pulled out some guidelines from my Great Wall of Poses. This one took me a few minutes to do (nothing extraordinary):
So tomorrow I'll be inking Mason (at long last). be sure to check back in.

Quick Sketch of the Day In Profile

Hi Guys,

So today I spent the day drawing a giant collection of poses. I figured since I get artist block sometimes it'd be good to have as a reference. So I decided to pick on pose out of my collection as my QSoD. Since I've never really done any profiles I chose this pose and drew a character:

I don't do profile views very often so it's good to get practice in anyways. Tomorrow I'll pick another random pose from my collection (and maybe I'll show you what my guidelines look like).

Quick Sketch of the Day

Hi Guys,

So I was feeling a little quirky today so I decided to draw this scene of a man stepping on a squeaky toy mouse and getting freaked out by it.

I hope you guys enjoy it!
And don't forget to order a commission. The money earned will go towards the charity for my aunt. Click the link for the first post down there to learn more about it. =)

Quick Sketch of the Day

Hi Guys,

So today's QSoD took me about 5 minutes to do (I was having an artist's block but I broke out of it). He's a blind teenager (no name as always):

I really love it when I can sketch something with a story behind it in five minutes. There's something about it that makes it feel like even more of an accomplishment. Because sometimes when I'm drawing something for a long time I start to take away or add things to the picture that starts to take away from it's beauty. So there really is beauty in elegance like most of my sketches show. Of course it wouldn't hurt to add some color and a background every so often. =)

Quick Sketch of the Day (Colored)

Hi Guys,

So today for my QSoD I decided to draw my first animal on Skiddishart! It's a frog on a lilly pad. Sure it's simple but it's cute nonetheless:
Ironically right now I have hiccups so I *hiccup* kind of sound *hiccup* like a *hiccup* frog... *hiccup!*

By the way, I couldn't ink Mason (from my her/villain one week project) so I have to wait one more day. But it will be up.

Quick Sketch of the Day

Hi Guys,

so yesterday was my last drawing for my one week Hero/Villain project so it's back to random QSoD's for me:

As you can see I was in a cutsie mood today. This is a little like how this drawing came about:

Me: Ugh.. I don't know what I'm going to draw for my Quick Sketch today...
*Watches episodes of Mr. Bean and starts drawing his face*
Me: Finished!
*Looks at picture: It's a car...*
Me: How did this happen? *Scratches head*
Me: I know! How about I turn it into a cute car! *Works a bit more on it*
Me: No... this is too cute for Skiddish Art. I need something gritty! *Draws salt and pepper in love*
Me: ... -.-

So that's how it went.
Eh, who says I can't draw something out of the blue once in a while? I'm still only thirteen. :)

Quick Sketch of the Day (Hero)

Hi Guys,

So here's my QSoD. His name is Mason:
Mason was a sixteen year old from South Africa. Involved in a car accident his mother and father died when he was four years old. Being raised by his ten year old brother James was hard but that was the world Mason lived in and through time Mason learned to adjust to it. On the night of his fifth year being orphaned James was out of the house for only seven minutes when Mason heard the gun shot. Caught in the crossfire of a violent dispute James died. Since then Mason truly was an orphan. One year later when Mason turned ten he stumbled across the house of an elder in his tribe. Introducing himself as Baruti he offered to give the boy a home and Mason accepted the offer. Mason and Baruti grew exceptionally close over the years but as he lived with Baruti he soon realized Baruti wasn't all he seemed to be. One night Mason sneaked into Baruti's room while he was out of the house and discovered a note left on his night stand. It read:
"My dear Mason,
It has been an honor having you as my son but that's not all you were. I'm deeply sorry I could not tell you this face to face I have been called away. This you must know: we have selected you to be the next wielder. Don't worry boy, in time you will find out who 'we' are. But for now please read this very carefully..." The rest of the letter explained Baruti was one of the five Seekers. He had been searching for the One (or Mason) for years and finally he found him that one day. Mason swallowed the fact that he was meant to wield the Bird's Staff. Something he had heard about only in legends. "The worthy," His father used to say, "The Bird's Staff would choose to protect Africa and the world." Of course Mason hadn't believed it as a child but as he finished the note he proceeded to the closet door (as the note instructed). A faint blue light began pulsating as Mason drew closer and he could feel an energy moving all throughout him. There, in the closet, was something Mason never dreamed of coming in to his tragic life. It was the Bird's Staff.
The last few words the letter Baruti wrote said were: "Right thee wrongs. Prevent the things that happened to you from happening to others. Follow this path and we will meet again my dear Mason."

So that was my bio for Mason. This is actually my longest bio I've ever done for my Hero/Villain one week project. I didn't even bother properly coloring this one because I'm itching to ink and color it (which I will do if not tomorrow the next day). I hoped you guys liked it. =)
By the way Baruti actually means teacher (and yes I looked it up).

Quick Sketch of the Day (Villain)

Hi Guys,

So today I did an interesting villain (and by interesting I mean not the typical kind of villain). His name is Brock:

Brock was a nineteen year old college student studying archaeology however his true passion was excavation. On his 21st birthday he moved to Africa to begin a one year excavation study. On his last week he set out one last time but found something unimaginable. It appeared to at first to be a cave dating back from hundreds of thousands of years (and it was). However inside the cave was a treasure Brock knew would land him his ticket to fame. Nobody would ever forget the name Brock Johnston. Because in that cave was a secret... the secret: ultimate power.

So that was kind of a lame bio but he's a kind of lame character so it all works out. After all, Skiddish Art isn't about writing, it's about art. My project is nearing is finish line. Tomorrow I'll be doing a super hero.

Quick Sketch of the day (Villain) + New ID + Facebook Page!

Hi Guys,

So I have a lot of new things to show you guys. First is my villain Geb,

Nobody understood Geb. He traveled the universe looking for knowledge... for humanity. He was turned away by every life form. He tried to be merciful. He laughed with them, made their crops grow, but he was not welcomed by anybody. Wherever he brought his joy he left his destruction. So now he would show the universe just who he was. His first destination: Earth.

So if any of you guys know about Egyptian mythology (I sure don't) this is an Egyptian god named Geb (or at least my own interpretation). I read that when he laughed he caused earth quakes so I figured he would be a good opportunity to make one of those 'misunderstood' villains. By the way he's a continuation of yesterday's QSoD. I'm not sure whether I'll do a villain or hero tomorrow. I guess I'll just surprise you guys. =)

New Caricature of myself:

So today is my thirteenth birthday so I figured I should update my caricature ID that I originally did for myself when I first started this charity.

I'll update again when I turn 14 in a year from now. Or maybe I'll do one every half year.

Facebook Page for Skiddish Art:

So since I turned 13 today I'm now old enough for a Facebook page. I'm not using the social part of it but I was able to create a page for Skiddish Art. It would mean the world to me if you guys liked the page on FB so I could gain more awareness of the charity. Here the link is: Skiddish Art Facebook Page

Quick Sketch of the Day (Civilian)

Hi Guys,

So here's my civilian for my hero/villain project. His name is Hugh:

Hugh was just a normal skater. He roamed around town with his friends and he went to school. There was nothing before or after that. But one day he took another road to get back home. Off in the distance he could see the faint outline of smoke. However there was something wrong with that smoke. It seemed to be glowing a sickly color of green. As he drew closer to it he started to realize among that smoke was a person - no not just a person - a hero. That hero's name was Ra. Named after an Egyptian god he was sent from Egypt, along with a few others dispatched all around the world, to warn to warn the people of an ancient evil coming to attack the earth. Hugh was dumbfounded by his new knowledge but he agreed to help Ra with a task. Given to Hugh was the Sword of Ra. It alone could protect the earth from the evil descending down upon it. Ra didn't expect Hugh to save the world - no that was his job - but for the moment he needed Hugh to keep it safe. This was a great responsibility but one Ra had faith Hugh (the chosen one of the sword) could carry out.

So my plots are getting more interesting aren't they? I'll do deeper ones as I go along. Tomorrow for sure I'll do another villain. Most likely I'll tie it into this one and do the "Ancient Evil".

Quick Sketch of the Day (Second Hero)

Hi Guys,

Meet Harvey:

He came from a rich family, rich neighborhood, and a rich life. Harvey had everything he needed and he was happy. It wasn't the money that gave him that completeness - no - but his family and friends. Harvey grew up learning you do whatever you can for family and neighbors. If you could help you did. One night, though, a fire started in Harvey's mansion after he had invited some friends over. His brother, father, and two friends scrambled to put it out but it was spreading too fast. What they didn't know at the time, however, was that it was Harvey who had set it and kept making it grow. By the time the firemen came Harvey was the only survivor of the fire. He hadn't meant for it to happen. In fact he didn't know how it happened. But Harvey realized if he didn't control his powers he wouldn't be helping his family and neighbors... he'd only be killing them. So after vigorous training, Harvey set out on a long journey to find true control. On his way there, though, he's going to encounter some obstacles. But it will be these obstacles that will give Harvey the chance to redeem himself and save lives he couldn't save before.

So I thought about that as I wrote it (probably obvious) but like I said yesterday: I made a better bio and a cooler character. Tomorrow I might do another villain or perhaps one of the mandatory civilians that helps with the plot line (i.e. Lois Lane).

Quick Sketch of the Day (Hero) + More Commission Suggestions

Hi Guys,

So - as promised - here's the superhero I did for my one week project. His name is Arkas:

For once his name actually has something to do with something relevant to the plot line. His real name is Scotty Jones but his alias - Arkas - comes from his state Arkansas. He's not patriotic but he holds deep sentimental  feelings for his home. His super power is super strength and super speed (typical, I know). He worked as a sidekick for five years under heroes like (excuse me copyright laws) Batman, Green Lantern, and Nightwing but he never seemed to be able to keep up with them. So in spring of 2012 he decided to go solo. In his hometown of Step City there aren't alot of villains... or gangs... or even muggers but he helps out his local officers by writting tickets and ridding the world of the villainous jay walkers. On a good day he'll even catch a few loiterers. However when he's not doing that he helps out Captain Planet by cleaning up the littered parks and streets (I am so not keeping a straight face right now). Arkas hopes one day he can move to a bigger city like Gotham with his own sidekick. But until then he keeps his neigbors safe from the mean streets of Step City as: Arkas!

So I promised I'd do a really amateur and lame superhero so here he is. Tomorrow I'll do another superhero (with a much cooler bio) and a not so typical outfit.

Commission Suggestions:

So I thought of a few more things you guys could commission me to draw:

1. Logos
2. Cartoon interpretation of the host and guests of children's parties
3. Cartoon interpretation of yourself for your avatar (Facebook/Youtube, etc.)

So those were just three more things I thought of. If I get any more I'll post them.

Quick Sketch of the Day (Second Villain)

Hi Guys,

So here's my villain QSoD. His name is Lee:

Lee wasn't just raised on the streets... the streets raised him. One day when he was three years old his parents abandoned him outside of a gas station. He couldn't remember his last name (only his first) so he's known simply as Lee. A couple of thugs picked him up when they realized what had happened and raised him as.. well.. they raised him as a tool. Lee was trained to do the small (but important) jobs the head of the gang couldn't worry about. He couldn't go to school but he got an education of weapons. When he was sixteen he designed his own duel axes and taught himself how to use them effectively in battle. Now Lee is a very street smart - very dangerous - twenty year old.

So that's my bio for Lee. If I may say so myself (as been there done that as it is) Lee's story was pretty neat. There's way more where that's from though. Tomorrow instead of doing another villain I'll be doing a hero. He (or she) I'll make an amateur then as my project goes on I'll make them better and better with better bios. Then who knows? Maybe I'll write a short story when all this is done. =)

Quick Sketch of the Day

Hi Guys,

So here's an O.C. (original Character) that I did this afternoon. His name is James Clockskin. He was a carpenter (yes he has nothing to do with clocks) who got fired for handling a nail gun while 'aggressively motivated'. So when an opportunity arose he worked as a designer for notorious gang's headquarters.
There isn't really any 'illegal activity' going on from this guy but he definitely has a hand in keeping the criminals busy.

So what do you guys think? A good character for a short story? Game maybe?
Maybe I'll do a series of these guys for the next week. Any villains (or heroes) I think of I'll draw them then do a quick bio. So tomorrow I'll draw another villain. Most likely a more criminal one. If you have any ideas for them you can always leave it in the comment section. =)

Quick Sketch of the Day

Hi Guys,

So here's my QSoD. Another random character:

This is only the second time I've done this type of shading on the blog. The first time was when I drew 'Happy' for my Music to Art experiment. It actually has a very nice effect on the drawing. I'll probably use it more in later drawings on my blog.

Quick Sketch of the Day

Hi Guys,

So here's my QSoD. Today I decided to ink my original sketch. I was going to upload just the sketch but I thought it would look nice if I inked and colored it. So here it is:

It's a classic children's illustration (smiling animals and what not). I find this style (coloring) the best to use when I'm illustrating something for younger kids. I guess that's because it's a very simple style. Kids tend to cling to that sort of art style (mostly because that's what they're exposed to).
I don't typically draw animals but I'll do more of these in the future. They're pretty fun and easy to do too.

Quick Sketch of the Day + Last Story

Hi Guys,

SO here's my QSoD. he's another random character. I've been doing more full body sketches for my QSoDs. I think it's good to mix things up a bit sometimes. These are fairly simple to do. They only take a few minutes.

Last Story:

Okay, so I've been doing a series of stories for my 'Music to Art' experiment. I finally finished the last one. Basically what they are are short stories that explain what's going on in the picture. This one is a dystopia about a boy who was determined to do something about the oppression of his people. I like doing them, they're exciting. I would have loved to do a longer version of this story because it doesn't really explain all that I wanted to explain but I based it solely on the picture so I wrote enough for you to understand it I guess. Maybe sometime in the future I'll write more about it. Enjoy:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The year was 3592. Technology had advanced ten fold and exceeded limits people set years ago. People had been in almost perfect health for a decade. Humans had progressed in almost everything except for one vital attribute to society: Their humanity.
People are no longer judged on the color of their skin but the rank they earn in the society. Broken down into three different categories are what determines whether your child makes it past a third grade level of education or not: There are the Basken (head of society), Reedmans (the struggling bridge between the Basken and the Kips), then there are the Kips themselves. Life for a Kip is a life as a servant. Nothing comes before it... nothing comes after.

“Recite!”
“We live to feed the Basken. We live to protect the Basken. We live to serve the Basken.” The children all said in unison.
“Recite!”
“We live to feed the Basken. We live to protect the Basken. We live to serve the Basken.”
“Recite!”
None of the children in the orphanage recited the Kip oath a third time. They simply had their heads turned to some foolish distraction at the far end of the room.
“What are you kids...” The Head master caught himself before he said something that actually didn't sound cold. “Erm.. I mean.. What are you good for nothing little rats staring at?! I said recite!”
But as harsh and cruel as the serious tone sounded none of the children turned to look at their slave driver. Their attention was still locked on something – no – someone in the corner of the tiny white room. It was definitely a child. His white and silver outfit sparkled in the sunlight as he shifted around.
What is he doing? The head master thought to himself.
“You there! Boy! What are you doing?”
The boy neither turned to face him nor did he bother answering his question.
The head master's plump red faced turned to a brighter shade of red
until he was glowing as red as a tomato. “I said-
“I heard what you said.” The boy stood – still facing the wall – and spoke again, “And if you must know what I'm doing,” The strange boy turned around and revealed himself, eyes full of tears, “I'm grieving.” He was much younger than he looked at the time, only ten years old, but the intensity in his eyes would give him a name that he would carry for the rest of his life: Trouble.
The head master scoffed, “And just what are you 'grieving' about, boy?”
The death of my parents.”
The head master was quiet for a moment. He knew exactly what that meant. In 3567 the government set a limit on the number of children granted to one Kip family. For a while the law was working and the Basken had the Kip under their thumb. Should a family have three children (one more than they were aloud) the Basken government would simply kill the baby. However, as time went on, people found better places to hide their children (places the Basken could not detect). The Kip population was growing and it would keep growing until, the Basken feared, they would either put their heads together... or their fists. Either way, whatever happened it wouldn't benefit the Basken. So to remedy the situation after having their second child reached the age of five the parents were killed.
Well then. You know the law boy. Now recite!
“No.”“Excuse me?” The head master's face grew to an even redder tone.
“I will not recite today. My parents deserve to be grieved over. I shall grieve them.”
“So,” The head master began, “Your brother turned five?”
My sister.”
Ah, I see. Well how about as this: You can spend a day in the Chamber for each year your sister is old.” The head master glared at the defiant young boy. His eyes seemed to open wide (maybe with fear or maybe with shock at the length of time). Hmm...Maybe five days is a bit too long for this pathetic scrawny thing, The head master looked the boy up and down Bah! They have to be taught submission one way or another. “There is no time for grieving when you are a Kip boy! The Basken grants you life! You will obey or have that offer stripped from you! Off to the Chamber with him!”
Some of the older children in the room obeyed the head master's order and carried the kicking and screaming boy off to the torturous room.
The boy – Xeno – had seen what happened to some Kip who has been in the Chamber for only a day: They were as good as dead. Nobody really knew what happened to them when they were in there... or when the came out. It was as if their mind has been rewired to become perfect servants for the Basken. Of course, that was only true for the Kips who survived the Chamber. There were countless deaths for those who were kept in the Chamber for to long. However the Kips who did survive it only came out obedient because of fear of the Chamber. No defiant Kip can be swayed by a Basken. So it was at this moment Xeno began to fear for the first time in his life. He began to fear for what would happen to his little sister if he dies in this awful Chamber. He began to fear what would happen if she was left all alone to take care of herself. So it was at that moment Xeno was determined not to die in the Chamber.

Ten years past. 3602. Lexan was out in the mines while her brother – Xeno – was inside picking through the rocks and rubble sorting out the valuable metals from the useless minerals. He scoffed, just like the Kips and the Baskens I guess.“Xeno! Xeno come quick! There's something wrong at the mines!” One of the smaller children still living at the orphanage called out to the young man.
“What? Which one?” Xeno threw the rocks back on the table and sprinted towards to boy.
“The one where Lexan was assigned to work today! I think it's collapsing!”
Xeno's heart beat and the beat of his feet on the rugged dirt road fell into perfect sync. He hoped what the boy told him wasn't true. He hoped he hadn't avoided an exit from this unfair world for nothing. He hoped the Basken hadn't caused something horrific to happen to his sister... he hoped his sister hadn't died. By the time Xeno got to the mines five minutes had past. For a house on fire that might have been enough time to help Lexan. For a broken leg he could have gotten her to a Kip medic in no time. But for a collapsing mine... there really wasn't much Xeno could do but hope it wasn't true. But alas it was and by the looks of the settling dirt it seemed the mine had collapsed nearly ten minutes ago. There in the corner of his eye Xeno could see a few air crafts lowering to the mine. Most of the men on board were Basken (save for the few Kip they brought along no doubt to help move the rocks). There were machines for that type of thing but the Basken saw it as the perfect opportunity to
exercise their power. One Basken supervisor marched over to Xeno.
“You there! You Kip!” The supervisor barked at the shell shocked Xeno. He didn't respond, only stared at the approaching supervisor. “Kip! What happened?!”
“The mine collapsed...” Xeno was looking past the supervisor to the
mine. It looked like the Kip slaves had managed to remove the
boulders blocking the entrance and were venturing into it.
“I can see that, Kip! How did it happen?” The supervisor was
growing ever impatient as he folded his arms and began to tap his foot.
“I don't know. I wasn't here.” Xeno finally met the supervisor's eyes
but saw no sort of regret at the possible deaths in that mine. Only curiosity on how it all collapsed (most likely to use it as an example for the other Kip miners).
“Then why were you here...” The supervisor took another step
towards Xeno waiting for an answer.
My sister was- Wait no! Why are they only taking out the metal?! What about the people still in there?! They might still be alive!” Xeno started racing to the mouth of the cave when the supervisor yanked him back down on the ground.
“You get back to work now Kip!” The supervisor began trotting away when Xeno grabbed his arm. An action punishable by death if not serving as a protection for the Basken.
“Why you filthy Kip!” The supervisor spat in Xeno's face but he simply held on tighter. The supervisor wasn't a a rather buff man. Instead he was shorter and scrawnier than Xeno. He had to be at least fifty while Xeno was only twenty years old. Xeno had an advantage.
“Listen you Basken scum! My sister is in there along with countless other human creatures!” Xeno unsheathed a blade he had concealed in this pant's pocket. It extended into a full size sword upon the touch of a button. Holding it up to the supervisor's neck he continued, “I refuse to sit back and ignore your cruel selfishness any longer! If my sister is dead inside that mine I will not let her death be in vain! You have oppressed us and kept us under your shoe for too long! Everyday something like this happens yet you choose to ignore it. Had this been a mine with Basken would you be out here arguing with me? No. You'd be on your hands and knees searching for your kind all day if you had to! I have seen too many things happen to too many people that were too poor or not ranked high enough to be noticed by you! I can't stop you from killing my people... but I can stop you from killing the memory of my sister.” Xeno raised the sword above his own head ready to bring it down on the trembling man. Xeno sneered and thought to himself, Only from the safety of their leather chairs and gold plated doors can they oppress us... Xeno let the sword drop to the dirt ground.
“You will be executed by sunrise you do realize?” The supervisor punched Xeno when he finally let go of his shirt.
Then by sunrise I would have made my name known.” Xeno pocketed his blade then made his way back to the city.

Xeno went into hiding for twelve more years (reuniting with his sister who survived after six months). He formed and allegiance with all the Kip he could gather and a few Reedmans. He might not have made his name known on the day of the collapse but twelve years later he made it known when he took back his entire country in the name of the Kips. Seeing his sister face death because of a social rank made Xeno realize if he was to start new he would have to rewrite what the world once new as 'the way'.

Recite!”
The children of the school spoke in unison: “We live to love each other! We live to help each other! We live for each other.”
